I am a learning and development professional based in the Washington, D.C. metro area, specializing in multimedia and video production. Currently, I work for a government contractor developing training for disaster housing inspectors on the FEMA Housing Inspection Services (HIS) contract. Through this role I have harnessed my aptitude for identifying the root cause of performance issues and proposing solutions for improvement that support both learners and the organization.
With over ten years of experience, I've been afforded the opportunity to contribute to all stages of online training development and digital media production. The most rewarding part of my job is evaluating the impacts of a project on which I have been involved from start to finish. I also enjoy collaborating with subject matter experts and business partners to develop creative content aimed to enhance the learner experience.
As a longtime lover of cinematography and film, I studied Media Arts and Design at James Madison University and received my B.S. in 2009 with a concentration in Digital Video and Cinema. My past work experience includes television news studio and commercial production and producing original digital content for online classrooms in higher education. My additional technical skills and experience include photography, graphic/web design, digital publishing, and sound editing/design.
My most recent work is proprietary and confidential. Please contact me for details or to schedule a demonstration.
